Sarah Beth Clime
Sarah Beth Clime was born October 27, 1949, to Thomas and Loretta Patterson in Iowa City, Iowa. She died on April 13, 2026, in her home surrounded by family, after battling an illness. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. Her greatest hope in death lied in her relationship with Jesus, which carried her through many trials in life.
Sarah is survived by her children Erica (Ben) Dickerson, Bradley Clime, and David (Heather) Patterson; grandchildren Jonathan, Rebekah, Alexander, Abigail, Jeremiah, Lacey, Jace and several bonus grandchildren; her brother Tom (Diana) Patterson; and many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Stephen.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Marion, IA on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 3:30 PM. A reception is to follow from 4:00-6:00 PM at the church.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Sarah Clime Memorial Fund at Hills Bank located at 3905 Blairs Ferry Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. The funds will be used to provide Sarah’s grandchildren with a memoriam, in her honor.
