Terry Lee Stillions

Terry Lee Stillions passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at his home in Cedar Rapids, IA, surrounded by his loving family. Services and Interment were held privately.

He was born September 12, 1956, in Cedar Rapids to William “Bill” and Bernice (Hanson) Stillions. He joined a loving family along with his twin sister, Mary.  Terry graduated from Linn-Mar High School with the “Class of 1974” and attended Kirkwood Community College for one year. Following college, Terry ran the Skelly Gas Station for many years. After that, his focus turned to working as a Computer Technical Support Technician. He worked at several locations in the Cedar Rapids area including Ruffalo Noel Levitz until he was forced to quit working due to several bouts with cancer. Terry officially retired in 2021.

Terry married shortly after graduating and later divorced. Two sons were welcomed to this world, Tony, and Aaron, to this marriage. In 2008, he found the love that he was looking for and married Darla Eide on February 21, 2009. Darla had two children from a previous marriage, Joshua and Emily. Terry was so happy he finally had the daughter he always wanted. Terry and Darla bought a home in May of 2009, and the rest is history. If you knew Terry well, you knew he rarely would be seen without a “Bud” and a “Cig” in tow.

He is survived by his spouse of 16 years, Darla; children, Tony Stillions, Megan Joe, Aaron (Brandi) Stillions, Joshua Eide, Julia Rogers, and Emily (Scott) Pritchard.; grandchildren, Grant Stillions, Jena Mulnix, Harlow Stillions, Piper and Macsen Pritchard; his brother Steven (Sheryl) Stillions and twin sister Mary Stillions; and many nieces and nephews; grand nephews and nieces, as well as special friends in his life.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Larry and Ron Stillions, and Diane Ruiz; and niece Sonya Stillions.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Whoever is reading this, you have probably crossed paths with Terry at some point, and we say, “Thank You”.
